General manual durgol swiss steamer
PLEASE NOTE: The oven must be completely cooled down before descaling. The descaling liquid must under no circumstances be allowed to evaporate.
Appliance WITH descaling program
- Place a portion of durgol swiss steamer into the water tank (dosage according to the instructions of the steamer manufacturer*).
- If necessary, dilute with tap water – up to the amount specified in the appliance's instructions. Start the descaling program.
- For appliances without a fixed water connection, the descaling liquid is
pumped back into the water reservoir after the program has finished. It must not be used further (caution: hot! Allow to cool down before draining the liquid). - After descaling, rinse the reservoir with lukewarm tap water. Then rinse the appliance with tap water according to the descaling program.
Appliance WITHOUT descaling program
- Fill the water reservoir at the bottom of the appliance with durgol swiss steamer, ensuring the entire bottom is well covered. Use a sponge to spread the liquid over the limescale deposits around the reservoir. Use the durgol swiss steamer only when cold, without activating a program.
- Allow the product to take effect.
- Remove the liquid with a sponge.
- Clean thoroughly with tap water and rub dry.
Your device is now ready for use again.
