The special descaler Durgol Swiss Espresso has been specially developed for optimal limescale removal in a coffee machine. The milk system cleaner, on the other hand, is not intended for descaling, but for hygienically cleaning the milk-carrying parts. These are two completely different applications.
Milk residue can promote the growth of harmful bacteria. Coffee quality/taste is negatively affected if the milk comes from a contaminated milk system. The lifespan and performance of the milk system, and thus the coffee machine, are extended or improved.
